Was very welcoming and helpful basic room but comfortable
Hi there I would definitely recommend this hotel it's clean tidy and the host is very nice and helpful
We had a 3 night stay here and to be honest we were slightly wary due to the reviews we have read. I can happily say I don't agree with the negative ones! Not only was the owner lovely, but he goes above and beyond to help! I have never stayed anywhere that children are offered toys etc to take off site. He was very helpful by suggesting Alisons Quid Bakery for breakfast! What a breakfast it was too! The room was ideal, ground floor, private bathroom and very clean. My wifi signal was fine and there was very little noise during the night! The onsight pool table, TV and dart board in the shared lounge is perfect for families who don't want to be wondering round on an evening due to the party people in Blackpool itself! It's also within a short walking distance of the beach and ideal to go left to the pleasure beach and a peer at the end of the street and right to the other two peers and everything else! I personally can't complain and would definitely reccomend to other's. If you want a posh place then it's not for you (although you can see its being done up and has a lot of potential) but it's perfect for families and doesn't break the bank!
Stopped over the weekend and the owner was really nice. He phoned the day before to find out time of arrival and give us information to find hotel. Had a lovely conversation verry friendly and hotel is in a really good location
Owner was great, very friendly and down to earth. Very cheap, great location. You get what you pay for people moaning pay a bit more if you want all the luxury’s. Even let us go have a kip in the room after we should have checked out because we were that rough, top bloke.
Great value for money, don't know why people are acting like they were expecting the Ritz. Cheap room, not much there you get a bed and a kettle which is more than I expected. The owner is a lovlely and my daughter loved him, made us feel really welcome. The hotel is perfectly located almost exactly half way between the central pier and the pelasure beach, about a 10-15 mins from each which is a perfect walk along the sea front. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Blackpool again
We had an amazing stay, Peter couldn't do enough for us, it felt like home from home, such an amazing host, will definitely be back again
